The Visteon European Office and Innovation Centre in Chelmsford, Essex has more than 350 employees, and for Ride to Work Day 2012 staff are invited to take part in a host of RTWD celebrations.
A staff Ride-In before work will see employees greeted with FREE bacon butties and cups of tea upon their arrival. Once the working day is done, riders can join a Ride-Out led by one of the company’s most experienced bikers and end their day at a popular tea shop in Burnham, Essex. With a mix of male and female riders, the company is also suggesting employees spend the day in dress down biker wear in return for a small donation to the Wish Committee Fund (a charity run from Visteon’s Chelmsford facility).
Visteon are committed to green travel and have been recognised by Chelmsford council for their dedication in supporting alternative forms of transport. The company already boasts impressive parking facilities for motorcyclists and this Ride to Work Day they will once again prove their commitment to their motorcycling employees.

Gearing Up for Ride to Work Day 2012
Monday 18 June 2012 is Ride to Work Day.
As we say goodbye to Winter and hello to Spring, things are gearing up at Ride to Work Day HQ to make the 2012 event the best ever. If you are planning to take part this year, then tell us by heading to our facebook event here and click ‘going’ (don’t forget to invite your friends too).
We are planning nationwide events this year with the much-loved dealer breakfast for those on their motorcycle or scooter that pop in on the way to work or if you fancy a stroll around your dealership and some after-work fun, this year dealers will stay open late with some offering BBQ’s or ride outs.
